How to correct your items if you send them to the wrong Buyer

If you submit your items to the wrong Buyer, they might end up in the wrong POD. Here's some info on PODswhat you can and can't correct from PDX.

What is a "POD"?

Pods are really just an organizational format on AAFES side that helps organize items so that the buying team only sees items that belong to them.

In AAFES, everything is organized and routed by buyer name, if that’s wrong then it goes to the wrong team which will/should be rejected back to you the supplier to be corrected.

To avoid this issue, make sure the buyer name and email is correct and the items will route to the correct pod.

I submitted my Items to the wrong buyer

  • The correct buyer is in the same POD

If the correct buyer is in the same POD as the buyer you incorrectly submitted the items to, you can simply correct the info ion PDX and resubmit the items.

  • The correct buyer is in a different POD

If the correct buyer is in a different POD as the buyer you incorrectly submitted the items to, you will have to submit a request to PIM Admin to correct the items manually.

(Note: Remember to also correct the data in PDX so that you don't inadvertently resubmit bad data later on.)
